An Eventful start to the New Year

Happy New Year to all our members.

NSS Sussex held its official Inauguration on the 2nd of Jan and had Hindu Nair families from all parts of Sussex come together for this special event. Other dignitaries from the different religious communities and associations in Sussex were also present.

The President of NSS Sussex, Mr. Deepak Menon welcomed the gathering to this momentous occasion.

The chief guest for the event was Mims Davies (MP for Mid Sussex and Minister of Safeguarding) who along with Mustak Miah (Councillor - Burgess Hill ), Venugopalan Nair(President - NSS UK) , Suma Sunil Nair(Patron - NSS Sussex) and Deepak Menon (President - NSS Sussex) formally inaugurated the event.

The ladies of the community started the program with a prayer followed by an Acharya Vandanam by Navneeth Prasanth to celebrate the 146th Mannath Jayanthi.

The event served as an initial opportunity for the Nair community from all parts of Sussex to meet up and get to know each other.
